11th Annual Night of Hope

Night of Hope is an evening celebrating the Catholic schools in the Diocese of Phoenix. Nintey percent of the funds raised through this event assist families with immediate emergency tuition needs. Be a part of the celebration beginning at 5:30 p.m. on November 17 at Xavier College Preparatory, 4710 North 5th St., Phoenix.

Veterans Services: MANA House, (Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force), located in Phoenix, provides transitional housing for veterans. It provides a foundation for veterans currently or at-risk of experiencing homelessness, providing each one the opportunity to reclaim a life of self-sufficiency. We also serve Veterans in Northern AZ! Veterans Services serves low income men, women and families who are facing a housing crisis to obtain stable housing. If you or anyone you know is a Veteran experiencing homelessness or at risk for homelessness, we can help. We have volunteer opportunities to support our veterans and we invite you to help or donate.

Cultural Diversity Mass: Join Bishop Nevares and the Ethnic communities of the Diocese of Phoenix to celebrate the Cultural Diversity that is present in this part of the world. Enjoy musical preludes at 3:30 p.m. Mass in various languages at 4:30 p.m. and a reception with foods from all over the world after Mass. Bring your families and friends to see the many faces in God's house!

The Person: Life & Community: Don't miss this opportunity for good food, good company, and good conversation as we come together for a deeper intellectual formation. University of Dallas professors across all disciplines will present on faith and culture and offer questions and primary text excerpts for small discussion groups. The course meets every Wednesday beginning November 14 for a total of ten sessions. This is sponsored by the University of Dallas Studies in Catholic Faith & Culture and St. Mary's High School.

Healing Mass: The Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit are coming to St. Clare of Assisi on Friday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m. to concelebrate a Healing Mass for our parish. This is a very poignant event and a rare occasion to receive special prayers and anointing that will be conferred on all participants.
